Paleo Tzatziki Sauce

Dairy-free Tzatziki never tasted so good! Plant-based Greek-style yogurt, fresh cucumber, and lemon are beautifully balanced in this delicious, creamy sauce you want to eat with everything! Pairing perfectly with grilled salmon, pita bread or fresh veggies! Traditional tzatziki sauce can be found here!

Paleo Tzatziki Sauce

2 cups Plant based Greek-style yogurt

1/2 cup Fresh Lemon juice

1 tsp Lemon zest

1/4 cup EVOO

1-2 Cloves Garlic, finely minced

1 tsp Dried Oregano OR 1 Tbsp fresh

1 English Cucumber, shredded

1/2 tsp Sea salt + 1/4 tsp Sea salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper

Directions:

Shred cucumber and place in mesh strainer with 1/4 tsp salt, mix to combine and set over a bowl for 15 minutes.

In a medium bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Squeeze out as much water as possible out of the cucumber and add to yogurt sauce stirring to combine. Top with a drizzle of EVOO and oregano and serve with pita bread, grilled chicken, or use as a dip for veggies!
